Justin Bieber may have finally lost it. The singer who previously basked in fans’ adoration is now repulsed by their excitement.
At his Purpose Tour concert held at the Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City, the Canadian pop star lashed out at a fan who gave him a gift of a hat while he was speaking to the crowd mostly made up of young adults, E! reports.
“Take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you’re trying to throw onto the stage right now, because I probably don’t want that s–t,” he said in avideo captured on Twitter, before adding, “Sorry that was mean.”
“But yeah, no I lost what I was going to say,” he continued. “I was deep into, like, a mode and a zone. I was—I was into it. Now I’m out of it. I’ll get it back. Just give me a second.
“Sorry for throwing your hat but you ruined the moment,” he said after gaining back composure, before quickly adding, “Whatever, let’s do it.”
Weeks ago, he wrote a detailed note on Instagram on how the whole attention sends him into bouts of depression. “[I] want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression,” the 22-year-old pop star said in a note that got the world talking.
Perhaps the adult Bieber is getting bored with all the adolescent love as he is no longer the teen star who won millions of young hearts years ago?
